A huge fire has broken out at an industrial estate in Essex this morning.
The fire is believed to have broken out in the Merrydale Works in Chadwell St Mary in Thurrock. Residents living close by reported hearing a huge explosion early this morning.
The fire started at around 6.40am this morning. Fire crews were deployed to the scene and they are still at the site tackling the blaze.
Large clouds of smoke can be seen rising from the fire. The cause of the blaze is still not yet known.
