A man has died after being shot inside a house in Little Baddow in Chelmsford.
The shooting happened last night (Friday 2 October ) at around 8:40am on Church Road. A man and a woman, both in their 70s, suffered gunshot wounds in the incident.
A number of police teams including armed officers attended the scene, along with paramedics.
The man and woman were both taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance.
However, the man died of his injuries yesterday evening. The woman remains in hospital and is receiving treatment for her injuries.
