A man has died following a collision in the Benfleet area of Essex.
The collision took place yesterday (Monday 11 May) at around 4.20pm. A black Smart car and a Renault van were involved in the crash.
The driver of the Smart car, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital. Sadly, he died later in hospital.
The driver of the van was not seriously injured.
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
