A police cordon is in place in Colchester after a man was stabbed this morning.
The incident happened at around 7.40am this morning (Friday 22 May) on Hunwicke Road, close to some local shops.
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were called to the scene following reports of a man being assaulted and stabbed.
An air ambulance was also sent and it’s believed the victim has been airlifted to hospital. No details have been released on the condition of the man.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident, which Police are treating as a ‘targeted attack’.
Police remain at the scene as officers conduct their investigations.
