A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed inside a care home in Essex on New Year’s Eve.
Police and paramedics were called to Swan Lane in Wickford at around 1pm yesterday (December 31). They arrived to find a man with stab wounds to his back.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, has been taken to hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life-changing.
A 68-year-old woman from Wickford has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. She remains in Police custody.
