A 15-acre site in North Essex is set to be transformed into a £65million retail park.
Stane Retail Park, which was granted planning permission by Colchester Borough Council, will be situated opposite the popular Sainsburys in Stanway.
The scheme once completed will provide an exciting line up of high quality stores in a modern and contemporary environment.
Careful consideration has been given to ensure the park compliments its surroundings, including landscaping to enhance its appearance.
There site will include 180,000 square feet of retail space, which will create 500 new jobs.
A number of brands have announced they will be opening stores in the new retail park, including M&S and B&Q.
The developers are keen to ensure the retail park is easily accessible, with parking spaces for 753 cars included in the proposal.
A range of highway improvements totalling some £2.5million has also been planned to the Eight Ash Green A12 junction and the Western Bypass.
Construction at the site is expected to begin shortly, with reports of work starting as soon as April 2020.
