The search for a missing Essex man has been suspended this evening following the discovery of a body.
Shaun Mason, 48, was last seen at 6am this morning in Bramston Green in Witham.
Essex Police have been trying to locate him for much of the day, due to concerns for his welfare.
However the search was suspended following the discovery of a body.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “While formal identification is yet to take place, Shaun’s family have been informed.”
They added: “The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.”
